What did people do before the internet?

I should be able to remember this. It was not around for my whole life. I learned to type on a typewriter. A nun taught me.

James Sturm is quitting. I feel like quitting, too. The internet, that is.

    because i don't have a laptop right now, i feel like i've halfway quit. it is amazing. i am going back into the past, for example, and reading absalom! absalom! i'm going to try to quit even after i get it back.

    this is the exact same reason why i give up television at least once a year. it never lasts.
