Travel should encalmen one.

Panicky. This is why:

1. I am preparing to go on a trip, which means that I have to concentrate on not forgetting things.

2. While I'm on my trip I will not be playing the Venom Literati game, and this makes me feel jittery.

3. I just found cold coffee in my desk drawer and drank some of it. It had milk in it. Spoiled milk?

4. I read that Aaron Hellem story, Alice in the Middle of Jumping, and I liked it extremely much and then tried to read more Aaron Hellem stories and discovered I couldn't. Because I'm bad at reading online? Because I'm already jumpy? Because I'm bad at reading, in general? Because the font wasn't large enough? Because I'd already had enough?

Abby is noisily preparing for our trip. She is doing so because she wants me to be preparing for our trip with her. That makes me feel calmer.

I like lovely/messy, too. I also like short/funny/sad(?). And secret projects. And PDFs. I almost certainly would have been able to read more Aaron Hellem stories in bed.

I like that Kathy keeps going out and finding nice things for us. I want to gather nice things, too, and present them to you like sweet broken mice. Yum yum. I will do so upon my return.

I like that I will be reading Hotel Theory while staying in a cabin, which might as well be a hotel.

i am sad today but i still like poetry a little

i just read parcel. i like it a lot. it is edited by andrea rexilius. she writes lovely poems. my favorite poems in parcel are by caryl pagel and della watson. i especially like della's poem the islander's letter. i wish i could link to it but i can't because it's a pdf. but i like that it's a pdf because i can print it at work and go home and read it in bed. that is my new favorite thing to do.

i also just read the sixth noo journal. i don't know how to put those two little dots above the second "o." if anyone knows could you tell me? my favorite thing in that journal is the story far from the eyes of the sun by aaron hellem. i wish i could link to it but i can't because it's a pdf. but i like pdfs. we already talked about that. i also like the story i did link to when i typed "aaron hellem." i just realized my links are a kind of deception. that makes me feel bad. i will work harder in the future to link to things that i am actually talking about.

now it is time for me to go and think about my feelings. that's what you're supposed to do. you are supposed to think about your feelings. you are supposed to locate them somewhere in your body. and you are not supposed to make jokes about your feelings being in your butt.
