I can't stop thinking about this

There is this grave that can hold up to four people. This is real, by the way. And in this grave are the matriarch and the patriarch on one side, dead and under the ground for many years, and the other side is reserved for the son and his wife. Except that the son isn't dead yet, so just the son's dead wife is in the grave.

This is real: Carved on the son and wife's side of the grave it reads: "[This son] married [this other person, probably his foxy secretary or a golddigger or maybe it was true love late in life] in 2000." This is carved on the dead wife's grave. News of the alive widower's second marriage. On the first wife's grave. Carved.

I hope she's haunting the everloving ish out of him.

There was a question about this on the GRE - they used to do it way back to save space, but you never knew who you'd be put in with. The question was about a hilarious poem by (maybe?) John Donne, fantasizing about someone hot being placed in his grave with him and telling gravediggers not to disturb them.

i don't get it. wouldn't the son and his wife become the matriarch and the patriarch? and then their sons and wives would need to be buried with them? how could there ever be a grave big enough.

i hope i get tossed in a grave with you guys.

Our grave will be SWEET. Kathy and Sarah, you guys can make curtains with stitch-witchery. I'll bring the litterbox and cigarettes.
