Holograms are Awesome

The best part of the election coverage last night, other than Barack's speech, was definitely the hologram-people on CNN.

I don't know what to say about the hologram-people, except that it was hilarious to watch Anderson Cooper holding conversations with people who weren't really there.

I think I like the holograms mostly because they were completely pointless, counterproductive, and absurd--why would you prefer to talk to a transported, pretend Jessica Yellen in the newsroom when she was in the center of the excitement in Chicago? Well anyway I love it. There should be more hologram-people in the world. I hope this is at the top of Obama's list.

jem was a hologram but the rest of the holograms were just regular. also jem wasn't a complete hologram. it's like, there was regular jerrica and then synergy projected a hologram onto jerrica to give her pink hair and awesome clothes.

i wish i had cnn.

I forgot that you're a jem freak. Megan texted me about the holograms last night, and I thought there were holograms at Grant Park (I was looking for all of you in crowd scenes), and I thought, "How did Chicago get so much cooler like three months after I left? Maybe I was holding it back."
I only had dumb map holograms on the regular networks.

I completely agree. The holograms were my favorite part of last night's news.
Kathy maybe I will buy you cable for Christmas.
Did you love how Anderson Cooper could barely hold his shit together while talking to the holograms? That kid needs a new job. Although if the hologram would have projected and given him pink hair... that would totally be worth it.

I bet the hologram didn't get tickets to the rally. I certainly didn't take her as my plus one.

Did you guys see me on tv? I am that speck who's the 70,000th person behind Oprah. I couldn't see Michelle's dress but neither could anyone else because they were all crying. It was fucking amazing.

Michelle's dress was awesome. Who was that dude Oprah was hanging all over who also appeared to be Jesse Jackson's bestie? I'm jealous of that dude. I watched will.i.am. on youtube, too. Hilarious. Holograms are the now.

That Oprah. So free with physical expression. She's my role model.
