things to be thankful for

Everyone in the world has seen the the commercial for the anti-psychotic Abilify with the bipolar lady wandering dangerously close to a cliff. Or you have seen the Abilify commercial that pretends that Abilify is an anti-depressant.

This Thanksgiving, I am thankful that less airtime will be available for deceptive mental health marketing. The Abilify commercial lady will (hopefully) pull a George Bailey, making room for better bipolar role models, such as the manic and depressed Heat Miser and Snow Miser from The Year Without a Santa Claus.

What are you happy for this horrible holiday season?

i have never seen this holiday special to which you allude. and abilify commercials are only on cable. anti-psychotics are for rich people.

last night abby and i watched old disney cartoons, and there was this one with an opera singing whale that gets killed for his talent. children's programming used to be a lot more honest. and scarring.

this holiday season i am thankful for qurkey, the quorn version of turkey, even though i have not had it yet, so i am only setting myself up for disappointment.

You and your mold products! I don't have cable. Have you had tofurkey? I cooked one a couple years ago and was scared to eat it. Everyone else who eat it said it was semi-edible though.
