When someone's email says "Before printing, please think about the environment" at the bottom of it, I instantly get mad at the sender for preaching to me, even though I agree with the sentiment. I think a picture of a pretty little tree would be more effective.

i know! our emails at roosevelt say that too i think. or something. someone's email. i don't know, someone sends me emails and the footer says "please don't print, save the environment" or something like that. i don't know. i'm so angry.
Totally! Why are obsessive recyclers always self-righteous control freaks? I would never sleep with someone who feels the need to point out the obvious in the most annoying way possible.
