Hot or not: my beautiful loveseat

Sometimes I intentionally choose things because they are ugly. Maybe I feel sorry for them. Maybe I like ugly things.

I saw my new loveseat and said, "Oh!" like I was a mother. Specifically my mother. Later, Abby told me she thinks it is ugly. I think she thought I thought it was ugly and wanted it for that reason. But I think it is very beautiful.

i like it like it. it looks like an anthropologie thing. it is good to get things that look like anthropologie things but actually are not anthropologie things. good work.

I totally understand now. Abby tried to explain this to me last night as some glamourized flip-n-fuck. I had no idea what she was talking about, or how you could fit it in the back of Calypso. But now I get it. You could basically squish this thing down and put it in your pocket if you wanted. A light has gone on in my brain! Revelation!

ugly things are way better than cute things. ugly things are interesting. cute things are just cute. cute as a button is the most boring phrase ever.

I approve of all furniture that will fit in a Ford Escort or is completely foldable.

I don't think it is ugly!!!! I told her that I have very boring taste and it was just to damn exciting for me. It does stay in HER office, however, because I don't know if I can take that much excitement in my day to day.

also where did you get it? i am going to need one of these in my new apartment. flip-n-fucks are way more comfortable than futons.

Pier One. But it is discontinued. Probably because everybody thinks it is ugly. That's why I could get the floor model. New apartment?
