Play jamais vu with us

My office just played jamais vu. You should play it, too.

Write out the numbers 1-30. Then write the word "door" beside each of those numbers, as fast as you can. Did you start to doubt that "door" is a real word? Then you've been jamais-vued!

It's an experiment that this doctor named Chris Moulin did. Apparently, 68 percent of people experience that feeling.

Also, have you ever felt like your mom got replaced by someone who looks exactly like your mom but isn't your mom? That's Capgras delusion. If you've felt that, you might be schizophrenic.

Kevin just said, "I feel like I'm running as fast as I can with shoes made of popsicle sticks." When he was little he made little barking noises when it was too quiet.

I forgot to say that the only reason I know about jamais vu is Stacey Levine.

And presque vu is pretty cool, too. That's the tip-of-your-tongue feeling.

What is going on in that office? Do you want some of my drugs?

ps. Cotard's delusion - which causes a person to feel like they've lost their soul or don't exist - is way cooler.

I had the creepiest dream last night about the eye photo. Everyone in it had blue pupils. I think blue eyes are creepy already, with the pupils a normal color. Nothing personal. I know some of you can't help it. But on top of that, making the pupils blue! I woke up screaming. My cat growled at me and scratched my nose.

Yipes. Sorry about that. Although I must say that I'm glad the blog has invaded your subconscious.
