Maud Newton is my new bff, even though I've never met or talked to her and she probably doesn't know we're bff's. She is always linking to my stories, and recently, she won second place in
StoryQuarterly's love story contest. I would link to it if I understood how. I could never get second place in a love story contest. I could probably be an honorable mention in a How to Write the Most Depressing Things That Will Make People Stop Talking to You contest. Anyway, congrats!

I think Venom Literati should start to enter contests just for the sake of entering contests.
me, too. and everything should be all communist, and written by venom literati, with none of our names anywhere.
Yes. Let's do that.
Megan, I think our names are similar enough that it won't matter. There are wild rumours that I/you are teaching 160 and 162 simultaneously this summer. I guess that would mean I/you will be running between rooms. This might be a good idea, since the air conditioning only works in one studio classroom at a time on alternating days. I usually spend an hour discussing the classroom weather with the librarian in order to soak up the air conditioning (when applicable).
whatever. our students are just fantasizing about us "teaching simultaneously." they would explode if we did that--can you imagine?
