I haven’t read this book yet, but Arsenal Pulp Press is the coolest, and something exactly like this happened in my kitchen once.Soucouyant has been longlisted for the Giller Prize.

really i'm just trying to get you to bake chocolatey things for me so i don't have to.

will you? i am putting money on the idea that you don't bake.

those speech cd's RULE, by the way, and i mean that with zero sarcasm.

what is the giller prize? it sounds like a prize for fish. it should be called something else.

It's a prize for the best Canadian fish. I bake those square Pillsbury cookies that you find in the grocery store refrigeration aisle, next to the pre-sliced cheese. They are delicious.

I didn't listen to the speech cds. I just threw them in an envelope and put them in the inter-campus mail. I've always wondered if that actually gets delivered. Now we know!
